International exchange in Tottori Uni.

Dormitory for international students and researchers

Tottori University has its "International House" to provide accommodation for newly arrived international students.  International house is located about 15 minutes (walking distance) from the campus, features a 5-story building (single occupancy units) and a 3-story building (units for couples and families). Occupancy periods are between one month and one year for students, and between 14 days and one year for researchers.

Since the International House has limited number of single rooms, students are sometimes placed in double-occupancy or triple-occupancy rooms. If the number of new students exceeds the capacity of the International House, students are placed in the "Shirahama Residence", which is university staff apartment with Japanese style rooms rearranged for foreign students’ use.
