The Immigration Services Agency has issued a reminder to all universities regarding Part-time work by international students.
<Content of the Notification>
All international students in Japan are permitted to engage in part-time work only whilst they are enrolled at an educational institution.
Your enrollment status may change in the future due to graduation or other reasons; however, you must not take up (or continue) part-time work outside your period of enrollment at Tottori University, provided you have not transferred to another educational institution during that time.
You must also not start part-time work before enrolling at Tottori University or other educational institution.
Please ensure to follow the rule that ‘part-time work for international students is permitted only during the period of enrollment’.
