To all international students
We are writing to share an information and guidance on precautions that are planned as we approach golden-week holiday (GW). As the number of people infected by Covid-19 and its mutant strains has been increasing in Japan, including in Tottori, we ask all members of the University to prepare in the coming GW with following precautions in mind.
１）Travel
Avoid non-essential travel outside Tottori pref. during GW. If you have to travel due to unavoidable circumstances, please take all possible measures to prevent infection and submit the "Notification of Move Out of Prefecture" online from the link below. After returning from travel, monitor your health condition on the health observation sheet for two weeks.

You must follow the guidance of your faculty if they have own restrictions.
２）Extracurricular Activities
During the GW period, you must follow the extracurricular activity guidelines (only travel within the prefecture is allowed). After the GW period, from May 6-14, please keep your activities online. For students at Yonago campus, please follow the guidelines established separately to prevent infection.
３）Classroom learning
The classes from May 6-14, after GW, will be mainly online classes (on-demand and face-to-face classes). However, in some cases, face-to-face classes will be held for exercises, experiments, and other practical trainings. Please check manaba for details about each class.
４）Meeting with visitors
Please avoid meeting with visitors from other pref. especially from High Prevalence Area (V) and Infection Epidemic Watch Area (IV), which Tottori pref. designated.
５）When you have questions
If you have any concerns, please contact the IAD Office. Also, if you find yourself in need of taking PCR test, please contact us as soon as possible.
