COVID-19 Update- Response to the Declaration of a State of Emergency

 Due to the spread of the COVID-19, a state of emergency has been declared for Tochigi, Saitama, Chiba, Tokyo, Kanagawa, Gifu, Aichi, Kyoto, Osaka, Hyogo, and Fukuoka prefectures. Please avoid traveling to these prefectures. If you have to go there for an absolutely necessary reason, please take adequate countermeasures against the infection, and be sure to observe your health condition and keep a record of your activities.


Currently, the number of infected people is increasing rapidly in Tottori prefecture, so please take all possible measures to prevent the spread of infection.



Please avoid traveling internationally and domestically unless it’s necessary or urgent. Also please avoid traveling to the highly infected areas designated by Tottori Prefecture. (2) Group meals

Group meals should be limited to a maximum of four people and should not last more than two hours. Always wear a mask and avoid talking loudly, 3C situations, and any situations where there is a potential for mass infections.

When going to restaurants, use a restaurant which has been certified as the restaurants that support measures to prevent Covid-19. (see: https://www.pref.tottori.lg.jp/kurashi/)


(3) Be aware the risks that you may cause the spread of infection, therefore avoid the “Three C’s” (Closed spaces, Crowded spaces, Close-contact settings), and wash your hands well, and consider well when you cough. Please use soup or alcohol disinfectant when you wash hands before eating or after arriving at home
