Monitor tours to Tottori’s attractions are now available EXCLUSIVELY for foreign students at Tottori University! By joining the tours, you will experience the beautiful landscape and attractions in, as well as the culture and history of Tottori.  Participants are required to share the excitements of Tottori on SNS after the monitor tours. Those who are interested in the tours, Please check the requirements and apply for following Online form.


1.ITINERARIES* (2-Day-1-Night trip for each route)

  1. TOTTORI Route            14th – 15th November, 2020 (Sat. – Sun.)

   Attractions…Chizu Forest Bathing, Mitaki-en, The Ishitani Residence, Oenosato Resort, Uradome Coast Cruise Tour, Tottori Sand Dunes, The Sand Museum, Tottori Airport etc.

   Stay at… Tottori Hot Spring

  1. KURAYOSHI Route       28th – 29th November, 2020 (Sat. – Sun.)

   Attractions…Tottori Nijisseiki Pear Museum, Shirakabe Storehouses, Kurayoshi Figure Museum,
Mitokusan Sanbutsuji Temple etc.

   Stay at… Misasa Hot Spring

  1. YONAGO Route             5th – 6th December, 2020 (Sat. – Sun.)

   Attractions…Daisen Area (Daisen Home of Milk, Daisenji Temple etc.), Mizuki Shigeru Road,
Tottori Hanakairo Flower Park, Cycling etc.

   Stay at… Kaike Hot Spring

    *For reference only. Participants’ suggestions will also be considered.



*Expenses including transports, accommodation and meals during the tour will be covered by Tottori Prefecture.



  • 4 participants for each route
  • Foreign students currently studying at Tottori University
  • Willing to share Tottori’s tourist information
  • Able to communicate in simple Japanese
  • Submit a report on contents shared on SNS after the tour (English is acceptable)

 *All tours will be accompanied by an interpreter.



Korean, Chinese, Taiwanese, Russian, Thai, Vietnamese, Singaporean, Filipinos, Malaysian, Indonesian, American, Australian and nationalities of European countries

*In principle, participants will be elected from applicants of the above mentioned nationalities. Yet, applicants of other nationalities will also be considered if there are too few applications.

 *If there are a large number of applicants, select one based on the balance of the country.
