There are no classes on April 29, and on May 2 to May 6 due to the Golden Week holiday. All students must pay careful attention to the following instructions during this upcoming holiday period.

1.  Avoid traveling or returning home internationally and domestically

To prevent the spread of Coronavirus infection, avoid traveling or returning home internationally and domestically unless it’s necessary or urgent. In particular, the university forbid all students and staff members from any travel, including returning home (as well as transit) to the areas where are designated as “special alert prefectures”. If you returned or came to Tottori from those special alert prefectures after April 17, stay-at home and conduct self-quarantine for 14 days.

【Special Alert Prefecture】
13 prefectures where it is necessary to promote efforts to prevent the spread of infections:
Hokkaido, Tokyo, Ibaraki, Saitama, Chiba, Kanagawa, Ishikawa, Gifu, Aichi, Kyoto, Osaka, Hyogo, Fukuoka.
Especially during the Golden Week, avoid any travel or return-home crossing other prefectures.

2.  Manage your health and record your health status

Thoroughly manage your health daily (check body temperature, wash hands well, and wear mask) and record the health status.

3.  Avoid the “Three C’s” (Closed spaces, Crowded spaces, Close-contact settings)
Be aware the risks that you may cause the spread of infection, therefore avoid the “Three C’s” (Closed spaces, Crowded spaces, Close-contact settings), and wash your hands well, and consider well when you cough. Avoid going to the closed and crowded spaces such as Karaoke, Arcade, and Pachinko. Cancel or avoid outings or parties with many people. Refrain from part-time jobs of restaurants or entertainments.

4.  Be extra careful of car and traffic accidents as there will be more traffic during Golden Week.

5.  It is strictly prohibited to “drive under the influence (e.g. drunk driving)” by car and bicycle.

6.  University will be closed during the Golden Week. International Affairs Division as well as the manager office in dormitory will be closed. For any emergency matter, contact 090-7541-9245.
