Notice regarding the recruitment of applicants for the Kubota Yutaka Fund grant.

The overview of this scholarship is as follows.

【Eligibility】

1. Individuals who are nationals of developing countries with a per capita GDP of less than US$7,000 per year and who reside in Japan as of April 1, 2026
   (Based on the IMF, World Economic Outlook Database as of October 2025)
    
2. Individuals whose research or training focuses on specific technologies for developing countries' development (priority given to civil engineering, architecture, electrical engineering, mechanical engineering, agriculture, environment, development economics, etc.)
    
3. Individuals with a recommender from the educational institution where they are enrolled as a student

【Scholarship】

• 　Scholarship period: 1 year (*Extension for 1 year possible if requirements are met)
• 　Scholarship amount: Up to 150,000 yen per month (amount determined by the Steering Committee)
• 　This scholarship can be combined with other scholarships.
   

【Recruit Period】

  Monday, January 19, 2026 (Registration closes at 10:00 PM!)

【Scholarship Recipients】

　18 students in principle

*If you will apply for this scholarship, you must consult with your supervisor and please submit the required documents to the foundation by yourself.
