To Privately-International Students

 

Privately-financed studnents who would like to apply for the Assuran International Scholarship Foundation are required to come to the International Affairs Division to receive the application forms.

However, Students who can apply for the scholarship are those who have submitted the "Scholarship Application Form for the first semester of the Academic Year 2021 to Tottori University.

 

[Qualified Applicants]

1. Students who must be a privately-financed international student from Asian countries.
2. Students who are under 35 years old as an undergraduate student or a graduate student as of October 1st, 2021. (Research Students can not apply.)
3. Students who have more than 1 year before the end of the standard completion period of their current course.
   ( However, this does not apply to students who are in their final year of the current degree and plan to continue to study at upper degree.)
4. Students who need financial help.
5. Students with excellent academic performance, personality, and health.
6. Students who are able to communicate in Japanese.(Equivalent to Japanese-Language Proficiency Test Level 2)
7. Students who can contribute to international understanding and international friendship.
8. Students who are sure to participate in the scholarship exchange meeting (4 times a year, including one time study tour with accommodation) .

 
 [Monthly allowance]

　100,000 JPY. (Can be combined with a scholarship of up to 48,000 JPY.)

 

 [Scholarship Period]

　Two years from October 2021 to September 2023
(The scholarship period for senior students shall be the necessary period for the completion of the regular program of the respective courses if not going to higher degree courses.)

 
 [Number of Scholarship Recipients] 

　 About 15 students in Japan

The application deadline to International Affairs Division is July 5th, 2021.

 ※You need to fill out the application forms in Japanese.
 
In case of a large number of applications, we will select 2 or 3 people at the Center for International Affairs.

Those who pass the Foundation's screening will have an interview in Japanese.
