We are pleased to inform you that the Nitidori International Scholarship Foundation has sent us a scholarship invitation.Please read the following points carefully and apply for the scholarship on your own.
【Qualifications】
Applicants must meet all of the following criteria (all qualifications must be met as of October 1, 2025)
(1) Nationality: Any nationality other than Japanese
(2) Status of residence: College student
(3) Method of study abroad: Privately financed
(4) Age, course of study, and academic year:
[Undergraduate (4-year course)]
Those who are 24 years old or younger and will be enrolled as a regular student in the 1st through 4th year of an undergraduate course at a university in Japan.
[Undergraduate (6-year program)]
Those who are 24 years old or younger and will be enrolled as a regular student in the 1st to 6th year of an undergraduate program at a university in Japan.
<5-6th graders only> Applicants must be 26 years old or younger.
[Graduate Students]
Applicants must be under 26 years old and enrolled in the 1st or 2nd year of a master's degree program at a Japanese university as a full-time student.
(5) Academics :
①GPA of 2.5 or higher (on a 4.0 scale) from university (graduate school) admission to the present
*If the applicant does not yet have university grades, a grade point average of 3.5 or
higher (on a 5-point scale) at the end of the most recent high school year is the standard.
②Able to communicate adequately in Japanese (JLPT N3 or higher is the guideline).
【Scholarship Amount】
60,000 yen to 80,000 yen per month
*This scholarship cannot be awarded in conjunction with other scholarships.
【Scholarship period】
October 2025 - September 2026
(for those who graduate during the scholarship period, the scholarship will be paid until the month of graduation)
*The program can be renewed up to the maximum period of study by completing the prescribed renewal procedures every year (the procedures are subject to review).
【Number of Recipients】
Up to 280 students (in the first and second half of the year) [Number of Recipients increased!]
