【IMPORTANT】 To Privately-financed Students:
Tottori Prefectural International Exchange
Foundation Scholarship
Privately-financed students who would like to apply for the Tottori Prefectural
International Exchange Foundation (Zaidan) Scholarship are required to come
to the International Affairs Division to receive the application forms.
Application Deadline is May １ (Mon.).
(Contents of the Scholarship)
Monthly Allowance: 20,000 yen
Scholarship Period: 12months (April 2017 - March 2018)
(Applicant’s Qualification)
Privately-financed Students who attend a university or a college in Tottori Prefecture and meet all the requirements stated below.
◎Students who have been enrolled in universities or colleges in Tottori for more than 6 months
◎Students who need financial support for studying
◎Students with excellent academic performance and personality
◎Students who are not receiving any other scholarship
◎Students who will continue to study in Tottori University until March 2018,or longer
◎Students who will register as “International Exchange Activity Volunteer”with Zaidan,and participate or volunteer in the events held by Zaidan
◎Students whose family members do not earn equal to or more than the amount of Japanese government scholarship
*Students who can apply for the scholarship are those who have submitted the “Scholarship Application Form for the first semester of the Academic Year 2017 to Tottori University.
*Students who currently have been applying for any other scholarship cannot apply for this scholarship.
*If you apply for this scholarship , Tottori University will not recommend you to any other scholarship until you receive the selection result from Zaidan around the end of June.
Among international students who meet the all requirements above, Tottori University will recommend every student who would like to apply for this scholarship to Zaidan. However, it does not mean that all applicants will be selected. The recipients for this scholarship will be decided by Zaidan.
