この調査は鳥取大学に所属する全留学生を対象に行っていますので、必ず全員が回答してください。車を持っていない人も対象です。
This survey is conducted for all international students belonging to Tottori University, so please be sure to answer all of them.This applies to people who do not own a car.

    日本で有効な運転免許証は持っていますか？

    【注意】有効期限がきれていないか、日本国内で使える運転免許証であるかを確認してください。
    「国際免許」と書いていても、日本国内では使えない場合があります。
    有効期限が切れた免許や、日本で使えない免許で運転すると、犯罪です。絶対に運転しないでください。

    【CAUTION】 Please make sure that your driver’s license has not expired and that it is valid for use in Japan.
    Even if it says “International Driving Permit,” it may not be valid in Japan.
    Driving with an expired license or a license that is not valid in Japan is a CRIME. Please do not drive under any circumstances.

     （注意）自動車保険は「自賠責保険」と「任意保険」の2種類あります。

    鳥取大学ではすべての運転者に「自賠責保険」だけではなく「任意保険」の加入を義務付けています。

    （NOTE）There are two types of automobile insurance, ”Compulsory liability insurance” and ”Voluntary Insurance”.

    Tottori University requires all drivers to take out ”Voluntary Insurance” as well as ”Compulsory liability insurance” .

  4. 自賠責保険・任意保険証書の契約者名が、学生本人と違う場合は、その事情を記入してください。
    （友人から車を譲ってもらったため／先生の車を使っているため　など）

    If the name on the compulsory and voluntary insurance certificates is different from that of the student, please explain the circumstances.
    (e.g., because the vehicle was transferred from a friend / because the vehicle belongs to a teacher)

    ※任意保険は、友人や知人など血縁関係のない他人名義の車の場合は、名義変更をしないと、事故の際に保険金が出ないことが多いです。
    ただし「運転者限定特約」で「限定なし」となっていれば保険金が出ることもありますので、任意保険の契約内容をよく確認してください。

    *In cases where the vehicle is registered under the name of a non-relative (such as a friend or acquaintance), insurance benefits may not be paid in the event of an accident unless the registration is changed.
    However, if the “driver restriction clause” is set to “no restrictions,” insurance benefits may be paid in some cases. Please carefully review the terms of your voluntary insurance policy.
