Tottori Prefectural International Exchange Foundation has a system to dispatch volunteer medical interpreters to facilitate communication between foreign residents lacking Japanese language skills and the staff of prefectural hospitals, clinics, and medical institutions. Interpreting is available in English, Chinese, and Tagalog
