Iwatani Memorial Foundation Recruitment for the Academic Year of 2018.

 

If you would like to apply for this scholarship, you are able to pick up the application forms and guidelines (Japanese only) at the International Affairs Division

(Students in Yonago campus; the Student Section, the Education Affairs Division in the Faculty of Medicine).

 

If you would like to apply for this scholarship, you must consult your supervisor before you apply, and submit the required documents to the foundation by yourself. 

Also, please inform the International Affairs Division before you apply.

 If you apply for this scholarship, Tottori University will not be able to recommend you for any other scholarships until you receive the result of your application from the Iwatani Memorial Scholarship Foundation.

1. Qualified Applicants      

Applicants must meet all of the following requirements:

 ①Students are from one of the following countries:China, Korea, Mongol, Taiwan, Cambodia, Philippines, Indonesia, Laos, Malaysia, Myanmar, Singapore, Thailand, Viet Nam(Note: Japanese Nationals are not qualified.)

 

 ②Students must be privately financed students who are enrolled in or will be enrolled in the University as a graduate student or have finished PhD course and continue to study to receive a doctoral degree.

 

 ③Students whose major are related to Natural Science; Engineering, Science, Agriculture, a part of Faculty of Medicine (Major in Molecular Pathogenesis or Public Health), and a part of Faculty of Pharmacy (Major in Molecular microbiology)

 

 ④Students in Master’s course must be under 30 years old and Students in PhD program must be under 35 years old as April 1, 2018.

 

 ⑤Students will not receive any scholarship from any other foundations for the academic year of 2018.

 

 ⑥Students are interested in international study and friendship between your country and Japan and goodwill.

 

 ⑦Students must be able to speak Japanese to have a daily conversation.

The Number of Scholarship Recipients : 15 students in Japan

 

Monthly allowance : 150,000yen

 

Scholarship period : 1 year
