Would you like to participate in the Kyoto Study Tour for International Students? (Application is closed!)

The purpose of this Kyoto study tour is providing an opportunity to have Japanese culture experiences and understand Japanese culture and history for international students.  

This is not a sightseeing tour, so that participants have to submit a report after this study tour.

Schedule
Thursday, March 10 - Friday, March 11, 2016  (2-day and 1-night trip)
The first day

 

8:20  Meet at Tottori University
8:30  Depart to Kyoto
11:30  Arrive at Kyoto and  go to the study tour
17:00  Arrive at the Kyoto Utano Youth Hostel
19:00  Play recreation

The second day 8:30    Depart from the hostel
9:00    Start the study tour in Kyoto
15:30   Depart to Tottori
19:30  Arrive at Tottori University 
Participation fees

5,000 yen
includes,
    -Accommodation fee(including dinner and breakfast)  
*Lunch for 2days and transportation fee for the traveling in a small group aren't included in the participation fees.

Application

We will hold a seminar for the participants of this tour in February. The participants are required to attend the seminar. Time and location of the seminar will be posted on the CIA Website.
※First-come and first-served basis.
Application deadline: Friday, January 29, 2016
Please come to IAD with the participation fees and your national health insurance card by Friday, January 29. (Please pay the exact amount of money so that change may not be needed.)
*If you don't pay the participation fees by January 29, we will cancel your application.

Submission of the report
The participants have to submit a report of the study tour written in Japanese or English on A4 paper to IAD by Tuesay, March 22.

*Please let us know your cancellation by 5pm January 29, if you decide to cancel.
Your participation fees may not be reimbursed when you cancel your application after January 30.

*There are no towels and toothbrush in the hostel so that please take them by yourself.

※Students who want to participate in this tour must join the UNIV. CO-OP's Student Mutual Benefit(KYOSAI) or the Disaster and Accident Insurance for Student Education and Research(GAKKENSAI).  If you join other insurance, please turn in the certificate of your insurance. (Japanese translation is required.)
