IMPORTANTE NOTICE regarding measures to the Ebola hemorrhagic fever epidemic

Since March 2014, there is the outbreak of Ebola hemorrhagic fever in Guinea, Liberia, Sierra Leone, and other West African countries, and the Japanese Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology (MEXT) issued a notice urging people to pay attention to the newest developments and ensure their safety.

Ebola hemorrhagic fever is an epidemic with high death rate, so that MEXT advises to postpone traveling to infected areas if it is not urgent and necessary as well as recommending the following online sources to obtain the latest information.

In case you have developed a fever within one month after traveling those infected countries, please do not receive treatment at a local medical hospital, but get contact with the Public health center to receive the adequate instruction.
